Rogue is designed around local-first execution. This page explains the privacy principles for the Rogue AI Engineers website and Private V1 software.

Local-first repository processing

Rogue is designed to process repository content inside the environment where you run it. In the containerized Private V1 architecture, repository access is constrained to the mounted workspace. Local model execution is intended to keep source-code processing on infrastructure you control.

Website communications

If you contact Rogue AI Engineers by email or request private access, the information you choose to provide may be used to respond to your request, manage the private pilot, provide support, and communicate about the product.

Third-party services

If you configure Rogue to use external model providers, registries, plugins, tools, integrations, or other network services, information sent to those services is subject to their own privacy and data-processing terms. Review those terms before enabling an external service.

Security

Rogue uses controls intended to reduce unnecessary repository access and unsafe execution. No software can eliminate every security risk, so developers remain responsible for reviewing changes and protecting credentials and sensitive information.

Pre-release changes

Private V1 is pre-release software. Privacy practices and this notice may be updated as the product, hosting, telemetry, integrations, and commercial offering evolve.
