POLICY

Safe Use Policy

Effective: September 2026

Rogue can connect AI models to software repositories and developer tooling. Use it with appropriate isolation, review, permissions, and human oversight.

Recommended safeguards

  • Run Rogue with the minimum filesystem and system permissions needed for the task.
  • Keep repository access constrained to the intended workspace.
  • Review generated changes before relying on them in production.
  • Require human approval for destructive or high-impact operations.
  • Protect secrets, credentials, production data, and other sensitive information.
  • Only connect models, tools, plugins, or services that you trust.

Prohibited misuse

Do not use Rogue to violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, gain unauthorized access to systems or data, distribute malicious software, facilitate fraud, harassment, exploitation, or intentionally destructive activity.

Developer responsibility

AI-generated software can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, determining whether generated changes are appropriate for your environment, and applying the security and operational controls required by your organization.
